Join us in helping wildlife on Sutton’s doorstep! Learn more about us, support our work – from maintaining nature reserves to children’s education – and volunteer.

In accordance with the  Covid-19 Government’s guidance ,  Sutton Nature Conservation Volunteers (SNCV) have suspended all of its volunteering activities and regular Task Days are not taking place.

SNCV recognises that nature sites and other green spaces are a lifeline for residents needing fresh air and exercise and for children to use up their excess energy. There is evidence to prove that walking through areas of green natural space is great for physical and mental wellbeing.

SNCV encourages people to enjoy nature at these difficult times but we must remind people visiting sites of the guidelines for social distancing.

Enjoy your walk with nature but please:

  • stay at least 2 metres away from other people
  • do not sit in groups
  • do not let children play together in groups
  • keep safe

If we all use nature sites responsibly they can offer all of us respite during this public health emergency.

Please join those who are already changing their behaviour to keep us safe.
