Planting Preparation – Community Action Day – Queen Mary’s Woodland SNCV Glorious Glades Project

Sunday 24 March

10.30 -1pm  

Come and join SNCV volunteers as we continue to help improve Queen Mary’s Woodland by planting hundreds of wild flowers for butterflies, beetles and bees. We will be sowing seed and preparing the ground for planting wildflowers in April and May.

Wild Story Time: Maisy’s Nature Trail

Tuesday 9 April

10.30am -12noon and 1:30pm – 3pm

Suitable for: 3-7yrs + siblings welcome.

Join Maisy and her friends for an Ecology Centre Nature Trail, discovering nature through stories and games. Finish with a craft to take home.

Cost: £6 per child. Booking essential.

Peter Rabbit & Friends Egg Hunt

Monday 15 April  and Tuesday 16 April ~ 11am – 2pm each day

Suitable for: families with children 3yrs+

Come and help Peter Rabbit and his friends find the eggs that cheeky rat Sammy Whiskers has stolen! Join us for our Egg Hunt, Easter craft and stroke a bunny!

Cost: £4.50 per child ages 3yrs+

Wildlings Forest School 3-Day Camp

Wednesday 10, Thursday 11, Friday 12 April 

10.30am – 3.30pm each day

Suitable for: 8 – 12 year olds. Consent forms to be completed.

Join Wildlings for three whole days of Forest School adventures in the woods at Sutton Ecology Centre.  Build a campfire, use woodland materials and tools to make crafts, as well as plenty of opportunity for free play and making new friends.Celebration and creation in the woods. Enjoy some hot chocolate and mulled drinks made over a fire, as well as learning some new woodland skills to make a festive craft.

Drinks and snacks provided. Please bring wellies, waterproofs and a change of clothing.

Places are limited. Booking must be made in advance.
