Sunday Task Day Queen Mary’s Woodland

The last few months have seen volunteers devoting a number of days felling trees to create rides within Queen Mary’s Woodlands. Whilst there is still a bit more work to do, the prospect of warmer seasons to come sees attention turn to meadows and the start of the survey season in the latest Task Programme.

The habitat management work that SNCV volunteers undertake, along with other support work, is invaluable for helping enhance and raise awareness of Sutton’s nature sites. This partnership plays a major role in enabling Sutton’s Biodiversity Team to deliver much of its work on the ground.
